Broker/Agent Plan Details

Top commision pay

With our 65% hassle free commission plan you will make more money. Unlike other companies who require their agents to have a minimum profit margin on each load, OFS is a refreshing change. Whether you have customers with consistently high margins, low margins because of a competitive freight situation, or are somewhere in between you will love our graduated commission scale. With OFS, you have it all. You will make commission pay that is on the top end of the spectrum in the industry and if you want to move a load at a lower margin we will never hassle you about it. Here’s how it works:

Commission is calculated on a per load basis using the following scale.

Profit Margin % Commission %
11% and above 65%
10.0% - 10.9% 60%
9.0% - 9.9% 50%
8.0% - 8.9% 40%
7.0% - 7.9% 30%
6.0% - 6.9% 20%
5.0% - 5.9% 10%
Under 5.0% 0%
EXAMPLE 1
Your customer has a load of product going from Dallas to Denver.
  • Customer is paying: $1000
  • You are paying the carrier: $850
  • Gross profit is: customer amount ($1000) – carrier amount ($850) = $150
  • Profit margin % is: 15%
  • Based on the above table your commission would be: 65% of $150 = $97.50
EXAMPLE 2
Your customer has a load of product going from Dallas to Denver.
  • Customer is paying: $1000
  • You are paying the carrier: $910
  • Gross profit is: customer amount ($1000) – carrier amount ($910) = $90
  • Profit margin % is: 9%
  • Based on the above table your commission would be: 50% of $90 = $45
